Fall is in the Air

The days are just a little cooler and the nights even cooler here in Montana. We are back in the school routine and so far so good. We are studying World War I and Jackson is working on his notebook/lapbook. We are using for the second year in a row In the Hands of A Child for our study. I love how they have lots of different titles that cover a wide ranch of topics. I also bought the Lewis and Clark study. Since they spent so much time in Montana during the travels there are hundreds of field trip opportunities. I am trying to decide on anew Math curriculum but am not sure what I am going to get yet.I have narrowed it down to 2. I think. I am just not happen with what we are using now. We are going back to Florida for Christmas this year. This will be the first Christmas in 4 years that we will be home with our family. As much as I love living in Montana,the holidays are always a little more difficult. Speaking of Christmas, it is only 84 days away.
